Great Curve Films, founded by Madeleine Sackler in 2009 is the production company responsible for most recently O.G, starring Jeffrey Wright and Theothus Carter, and the documentary It’s a Hard Truth Ain’t It, which was co-directed with thirteen men inside a maximum-security prison and nominated for a 2020 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary category.
O.G. and It’s a Hard Truth Ain’t It were made in a maximum-security prison in collaboration with both the staff of the prison as well as men who are currently incarcerated there.
